1.  Der Stahladler is NOT about politics

 Der Stahladler is not linked or affiliated in any ways to any political or philosophical circle. Its sole purpose is to provide professionally researched reproduction uniforms to collectors, movie & theatre productions and reenactors.

Even though we specialize in WW2 uniforms, we do not intend to promote or glorify any political regime, including those of Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy or Soviet Union. Our interest is purely historical and professional and we openly condemn any ideological system which promotes racism and hatred.

We chose NOT to use any offensive symbols when designing our website. However, the swastika will be contextually displayed on Der Stahladler's website, which means that we won't be hiding any symbol seen on an insignia or on a uniform. The SS runes are used in our catalog as a visual reference to differentiate SS uniforms from their Army or Airforce equivalents.

 2.  About our German military & political uniforms

 As professional historian and tailor, wopenly acknowledge the fact that WW2 German uniforms are still considered by many as being among the most visually appealing military outfits ever produced throughout the 20^th century.

That simple fact largely explains the fascination of a huge number of “nazi” uniform enthusiasts, far beyond any political connexion.

We have been rigorously researching the original period patterns to insure that each of Der Stahladler’s exclusive uniform is the most perfect match possible when compared to originals. Thus, we produce both military and more political outfits to answer a well established demand for those items.

Movie & theatre productions have been  showing a non-stop interest for such specialized products ever since WW2 ended. Reenactment has also been an increasingly popular hobby across the world. We therefore wish to offer wallet-friendly, professionally researched high end uniform reproductions to the entertainment industry and the re-enacting community.
